Welcome to our new UCSD Website!
We hope that you will find our new website to be a valuable source of up-to-date information from Eagle's View Elementary School, Unalaska City School, and UCSD. Staff members will be trained this summer to add updated content to the website and we hope this website becomes a valuable communication tool between the schools and the public.
An extensive renovation project is underway at Unalaska City School this summer. The projects include structural upgrades and expansion of the school kitchen. Exterior doors and windows are being replaced with energy efficient units, as are all the interior and exterior lights. The building will have new carpeting throughout, and all tiled areas will be re-grouted and re-sealed. Once complete, these renovations will provide our students, staff, and the public with a school facility that is safe, comfortable, and energy efficient.
We are pleased to see a good turnout of students for our 5-week summer school program. This program is designed to give students some extra attention from a certified teacher to boost the students' reading, writing, and math skills. We appreciate all the parents who get their children to school each day for the summer program!
The first day of school is Monday, August 24th. Please have a great summer and don't forget to visit our new website often for updates!
